Welcome to SAGIS
Savannah Area Geographic Information System
Savannah Area Geographic Information System (SAGIS) provides access to geospatial data on a standardized and accessible platform. SAGIS works with the City of Savannah, Chatham County, The Metropolitan Planning Commission and non-profit and private organizations to maintain standards, manage data, provide geospatial education, and coordinate geospatial projects that affect the greater Savannah - Chatham County area.

The next generation of the SAGIS Property Map Viewer is now available! It contains new tools and datasets with a streamlined mobile-ready design and optimized performance. Please let us know if you have questions or comments on the new viewer at sagis@thempc.org.
We have published training videos on how to use this new site in our Help document and on YouTube.

The MPC-SAGIS Coronavirus Dashboard contains a map of the coastal Georgia region, showing statistics updated twice daily by the Georgia, South Carolina and Florida Departments of Health. Positive cases and deaths are displayed. The pandemic is also shown on national and global maps with related statistics.

The MPC-SAGIS Hub for coronavirus contains relevant local and regional information and resources on how to protect yourself and stay safe, and links to additional geospatial information on the pandemic.

Visit the SAGIS Open Data Site to view and download publicly available datasets at no cost. The site includes tools to search, view, map, chart and download GIS data in the Chatham County region by shapefile, spreadsheet, and KML. Links download the most current data available, with the exception of the BOA Parcel digest.
