Savannah Area Geographic Information System (SAGIS) provides access to geospatial data on a standardized and accessible platform. SAGIS works with the City of Savannah, Chatham County, The Metropolitan Planning Commission and non-profit and private organizations to maintain standards, manage data, educate and coordinate projects that affect the greater Savannah - Chatham County area.
Visit the SAGIS Open Data Site to view and download all of the publicly available datasets at no cost. The site includes tools to search, view, map, chart and download GIS datasets in the Chatham County region. Data is available by shapefile, spreadsheet, and KML. Links download the most current data available, with the exception of the BOA Parcel digest.
SAGIS is governed by a board that consists of the City Manager of the City of Savannah, the County Manger of Chatham County, the Director of Georgia Tech - Savannah, and rotating seats that represent local engineers, citizens, and community businesses.
